Please let us know any of your needs, and we will do our best to find solutions to fit! Have a great day, and as a dear friend of ours says...."Keep on Dancin'!

                        How We Started Linedancing

My husband Ken has been linedancing since 1990. He was the Sherriff of a dance club called "Satin & Spurs " located in Lancaster, Ca, for 10 years. He has even written a few dances himself!! When we met in 2003,, he introduced me to a local class where I learned beginner dances like "Sweet, Sweet Smile", "Electric Slide", and "Boot Scootin' Boogie","Cha Cha Slide", etc. He then proceeded to take me to events, the first one being "Cool Country" in Laughlin, Nevada, hosted by Doug and Jackie Miranda (great people by the way). Since then, we have continued to attend events locally, nationally, and internationally. We had a local linedance class where I assisted my husband to instruct. We also enjoyed volunteering for different  events locally, and around the world.  Lastly, we hosted a couple "Thousand Trails" linedance rallies in Acton, Ca, twice a year. More recently, we have started a linedance class in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at the Fort Sander Sevier Senior Center. We teach beginners every Tuesday from 10:00- 11:30 am.

Now back to my story. When I first started out linedancing,I was petrified!! Here I was trying to remember what the teacher said we were supposed to do, and trying not to step on the toes of the poor people around me!! I had to determine that I wasn't going to give up, that I was there to have fun, and besides that, it was good exercise for my mind and body!! I found out that the people involved in linedancing are pretty nice, and actually the linedance world is like a big extended family!! So here I am almost 5 years later starting a webpage, and letting you know that it's great fun, and I'd like to inspire you to get out there and try linedancing for yourself!!

Our Big Move

We were invited to help our friends Doug and Jackie Miranda with their new Theater located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It's called The Grand Majestic Theater. They have a 40's Musical Show there called SwingTime. We have enjoyed helping them with this venture, and it has been a great experience for us. You can visit the website and check it out. It's www.thegrandmajestic.com. Ken helps out with the spotlight, as well as daily maintenance and ticket sales, while I help with marketing, ticket sales and the show.

Some Ideas Of Where To Go!

At this point, We'd like to invite you to check out some sites of people we know, who have been at this alot longer that I have!!  I will make a list what we know, and will add to it as I discover more. Please feel free to email or call us if you have any questions, comment or suggestions! Have a great day!!
